About the hotel and practical information

Bakkalandet Hotel is located in the middle of the main street at Kolvereid, Norway’s nicest place. Kolvereid is located in Nærøy municipality and has approximately 5,200 inhabitants. Here you can find everything from shopping opportunities to hiking trails and lots of great nature. So whether you are traveling through or wanting to spend time in the area, our hotel is the right choice.
The hotel has stunning views of the fjord on one side and a beautiful terrace and city street on the other side. It was completely renovated in 2016 and offers 25 guest rooms. In all our rooms there are flat screens and free WiFi. All styling, planning, preparatory work and work are done by local contractors and shops that show all the great things we can offer in Ytre Namdal. Here we can refer to, among other things, Colorful, LMW, Nærøysund property that has been responsible for planning, color selection and styling. Otherwise, there are also many other good contractors and shops that have contributed to the hotel being as it is today, including Nærøysund Kraftbetong AS, Nærøysund Entrepreneur AS, Byggmakker, Elcom, Weddes Rørservice, Namdal engineer and construction services, among others.
 
We also offer great rooms for meetings, courses, banqueting rooms and conference rooms with a capacity of up to 80 people. Perfect for gathering many guests and giving them a unique meeting experience.
 
We also cooperate with tourist information. If you ask our friendly reception staff, you can get information about the various attractions, events and package tours that are available in our area. We also have an overview of timetables for both aircraft and ferry connections.
